10 teams participated – one team from Zimbabwe, some from Johannesburg and some other fairly local teams.

Each team played five matches in a programme that allowed them to take on new opposition and not old rivals.

As it was a festival, the results were only for the individual teams’ records. Treverton is proud of the school team for displaying a very good standard of cricket and performing very well against some strong opposition. Well done to the boys and the coaches!

The weather was good, with no rain to disrupt any of the fixtures. This festival presents teams with the opportunity to play against opposition they would not normally encounter in everyday school fixtures and therefore exposes them to a greater variety of players.
