Sarel’s Nontobeko shines at KZN Rugby Trials

Sarel's learners recently proved that they have outstanding talent at KZN trials.

Whether it is hockey or rugby, Sarel’s learners recently proved that they have outstanding talent at KZN trials.
Nontobeko Mathupa was selected for the Sharks girls rugby team, which is a great accomplishment. She might just give the first rugby team a run for their money… Nontobeko says, “I was selected because I was the best outside centre in the u/16 Sharks team, but it is my team that brings out the best in me. It is my second year in the Sharks team.
Next month we start playing our matches, but for now we have practice every Sunday in Durban.
Thank you Mr Dube for being my coach and Mr Van Staden for giving me the opportunity to go to the trials.”
Jukskei
The Sarel Cilliers u/19 girls and boys teams have been chosen for the Endumeni district to participate in the Umzinyathi trials in Pomeroy on Saturday, May 19, in the multi-code sports series. Should they win, they will proceed to Durban for the KZN Top School competition. Good luck!
