DHS’s netball team excels
Mrs Carter and her swimmers travelled to Chelmsford on Sunday, February 18. The swimmers had a wonderful day, filled with competition and excitement.
On Saturday, February 17, the u/16 and first teams travelled to Ferrum to participate in a pre-season netball tournament.
Some very exciting matches were seen and participated in. The u/16 team had four tough round-robin matches and only managed to win against Sarel Cilliers. The first team progressed to the semi-finals after a win against Eshowe (13 – 3) and a loss against Ferrum. (17 – 11). In the semi-final the team played against Pionier and lost (7 – 11).
