The Islamic Educational Centre (IEC) held their 21st annual athletics meeting recently at Settlers Park, where numerous sporting events were contested.

The day was filled with laughter and great performances as the athletes battled to score points for their respective houses.

Cheers from fellow learners and parents saw the athletes giving it their all to make it first across the finish line.

Various sporting activities were seen taking place, which included 75m, 100m, 200m, 400m races, and relays. Spectators were off their seats in excitement as the action unfolded in front of them.

All three houses – Green, Gold and Blue – showed exceptional talent and team spirit.

There were also fun games like the donkey race, bean bag race and sack race, which elicited much amusement.

Food stalls were put up, serving scrumptious snacks and energy drinks.
