Swimmers dive in

The annual Polar Bear Swim is initiated by Ann Gray in aid of collecting dog food for two animal shelters

On Saturday, July 23 the Drakensberg Boys Choir School held their annual Polar Bear Swim at the Dragon Peaks dam.  Not even the fast approaching cold front could detract the 20 brave swimmers from entering the ice cold water.

The annual Polar Bear Swim is initiated by Ann Gray in aid of collecting dog food for two animal shelters. Thank you to all of the spectators for your support and to Dragon Peaks for the hot chocolate for the brave swimmers.

Well done to the two fathers who also participated! Remember to diarise this event on your 2017 calendar and come and brave the icy waters with us!
