St Gregory on the move

There was lots of fun had all-round

On Tuesday, May 13, St Gregory Primary School grade one and two girls went to Howick Prep to play in a hockey tournament.
Each team played three matches, with the grade twos playing to three draws of 0-0, 1-1 and 0-0.
The grade ones lost their first two matches and won their last one with scores of 2-0, 1-0 and 2-1 respectively.
There was lots of fun had all-round. On Wednesday, May 14, the U13 and U9 boys went to play seven-a-side soccer at Weenen Primary.
The junior boys played first, and lost the match 2-0, but they played very well for their first soccer match.
The seniors took to the field next. Our boys took the lead twice in the game, but Weenen answered very well to tie the match at 2-2. Well done to all the boys and girls who played and thank you to Howick Prep and Weenen Primary for hosting St Gregory.
