Youth teams take to the crease

The inaugural matches of the Umtshezi Cricket Association Youth League were played at Lambert Park on February 26.

Three teams form this league, namely Aster Cricket Club, Centurion and Colita Cricket Club Youth Academy. Two games were played, the first being Aster CC vs Centurion and the second being Centurion vs Colita Youth Academy.

It was great see youth cricket being revived in Estcourt and seeing some of the up-and-coming talent show off their skills.

The results of the league will be posted once it has been completed, along with the statistics of the best players.
