Golfers pay tribute to Phiwe Mabaso
63 golfers supported the memorial golf challenge
The third edition of the Phiwe Mabaso Memorial Golf Challenge took place on January 21 at Estcourt Golf Club.
63 players turned up for the Individual Stableford competition. All those attending the event had a truly enjoyable outing, thanks to the Mabaso family.
Winning the competition on 42 points was lady golfer Gail Boettiger.
There was a three-way count-out for the next three positions. Pro circuit golfer James Kamte came second, while local golfers Deejay Ramdhav and Mukie Ghasitha finished third and fourth respectively.
The members of the club extend their sincere appreciation to the Mabaso family for choosing Estcourt Golf Club as the venue to honour the late Mr Mabaso.
