Soccer fans gathered at the Okhahlamba Stadium on Saturday (October 22) to witness the UThukela U/15 District Champs.
Three football clubs participated, starting their journey to the championships at league level. After defeating their opponents, the teams progressed to district level.
The teams that took part on Saturday were Golden Boys from Loskop, Jam Alley from Steadville in Ladysmith, and Tholithemba FC from the Okhombe area in Okhahlamba.
The spectators were in for a treat as the players showed off their football prowess.
In the end, Jam Alley were crowned victors of the tournament.
Officials from the Department of Sport & Recreation and South African Football Association convey their appreciation to all the co-ordinators at local and district level for their dedication and hard work to make the league successful.
