MOTH celebrates golf day success

Through support of golfers, MOTH will continue supporting soldiers and their families.

The Monte Stanco Shellhole, which falls under the Memorable Order of Tin Hats (MOTH), hosted a golf day at the Newcastle Golf Club on Saturday (June 25).

Adjutant for the shellhole, Laurel Nixon said that despite the chilly weather, and the fewer players than expected, those golfers who braved the conditions had a good round.

They also had a chance at excellent prizes, including fuel vouchers to the value of R1 000 each.

The funds raised will enable the MOTH to continue its good work, supporting old soldiers and their families.”
