Greenkeeper claims weekend golfing victory –
Elred Darvall used his extensive knowledge of the greens to win the Newcastle Golf Club Sponsored IPS Competition on Saturday.
Darvall took first place with 41 points, ahead of his wife, Jenny (38 points). Third place went to Ebert Koorts (37 points), followed by Ian Sheville (36 points) and Dries Els (35 points on a count-out).
Congratulations to these golfers on their excellent play.
Upcoming competitions and events at the Newcastle Golf Club are as follows:
The regular Ocean Basket IPS Competition will take place this Wednesday (March 30). On Saturday (April 2), look out for the Newcastle Town Club Sponsored Better Ball Golf Day.
