NEWCASTLE KZN: Garyn Hendricks reels in the angling awards
The awards presentation was combined with the first Champion of Champions outing of the new season.
One of the biggest winners in the previous angling season is undoubtedly Garyn Hendricks.
The young angling prodigy walked away as the Natal Fresh Water Angling Association (NFWAA) Junior Angler of the Year, Champion of Champions, and also bagged a prize for the heaviest scaled fish in a social outing.
He received his trophies during an Itec Freespool awards presentation recently, which was combined with the association’s first Champion of Champions outing of the new season and hosted at Ntshingwayo (Chelmsford) Dam.
