NEWCASTLE KZN: Is Anelda Booysen the strongest woman in town?
Watch Anelda overpower her fellow competitors to claim a national powerlifting title.
In this week’s edition of the Newcastle Advertiser, we interview female powerlifter, Anelda Booysen.
She outperformed the competition at the 2019 Rhino Powerlifting Nationals to claim the title. Her coach, Marius ‘Gato’ Swanepoel is confident other national and international accolades are on the way.
In three years as a female powerlifter, she has progressed from a spirited amateur to a true ‘force to be reckoned with’. Anelda believes her positive attitude and razor-sharp focus are the keys to success in the sport.
