ESTCOURT: Another exhilarating win for off-road racing duo

It was sweet success for Shaun and Trace as they raced their way through dusty and hot conditions to take the top position

It was a dusty race to the finish during the final two rounds of the 2020 South African National Cross Country Series (SACCS) that took place in Parys on October 23 and 24.

Local off-road racing duo Trace Price Moor (driver) and Shaun Braithwaite (navigator) were among the entrants who came from far and wide to take part.

The Parys 400 was held on October 23; unfortunately, the racing pair did not finish due to alternator problems, but repaired the problem and were back in the game on Saturday for the Vaal 400.

It was sweet success for Shaun and Trace as they raced their way through dusty and hot conditions to take the top position in the P Class and secured second place in the Special Category.

An exhilarating day of off-road racing for Trace Price Moor and Shaun Braithwaite.

Shaun says they were up against big name competitors with large corporate sponsors, so the win was even sweeter.

“We are going to be attending the end-of-year prize-giving in Sandton because we managed to win the Class P championship for the year,” explained Shaun.
