No news was received from Parkrun International on the start of official events. The Department of Sport has announced that athletic meetings and parkrun events can start from November 1. Vryheid parkrun will commence this Saturday (October 31) with a rehearsal event to get volunteers back, and to train new volunteers. Events will be done in full, and times recorded and placed in the athletes’ files if possible. Anet Koegelenberg has been appointed as the event director.
