Ladies and gents take to the greens

It was with great excitement that Vryheid Bowling Club could host their first tournament during the coronavirus pandemic on Saturday.
It was a sunny but windy morning, and the players couldn’t wait to get their feet on the greens to roll those bowls.
The competition was fierce, but Philip Scheepers rose above the rest to scoop first place in the men’s singles division, with Henry Klofta as runner-up.
In the ladies’ singles, it was Rozelle Mostert who triumphed at the end of the day, with Alta de Kock in a close second place.
