VAC athletes take on hot and humid course

Well done to everyone who competed and completed the event.

Vryheid is thanked for its overwhelming response to the VAC’s Willem Boshoff Marathon, held at Gooderson Natal Spa last Sunday.
VAC had great pleasure hosting them all. The club was caught totally unaware by the number of people who attended, and there may have been some who ran the five kilometre event and were not issued with a medal.
Contact Lorraine van der Nest at Van der Nest Pharmacy if you are among those.
There is a list of athletes who did not receive medals and VAC would like to ensure this is rectified.
Congratulations to all the superathletes who ran either the 21,1km or 42,2km event at the Deloitte Challenge in Durban on Sunday.
According to the athletes, it was an extremely hot run.
Well done to everyone who competed and completed the event.

“It was pretty awful,” she said.
