Golfers to team up for annual Flotek Golf Day
The entry fee for the competition is R180, which includes novelties and meals.
The annual Flotek Golf Day will be played this Saturday (March 21) in the Four Ball Better Ball Stableford format.
Golfers are encouraged to join in and enjoy the day. Entry fees are R180, which includes novelties and meals. To enter a team or as a team member, call 034 218 1000.
The results for Dave’s Competition, played on March 11 over 11 holes in the form of an IPS, are: first – Cyril Mkhwanazi on a good 29 points, second – Dan Scholtz on 26 points and third – Loraine de Wit on 23 points.
The results for the Chicken Run, played last Friday (March 13) over 10 holes in the form of an IPS, are: first – Tyron Milne on 22 points, second – Dan Scholtz on 21 points and third -Dave Donaldson on 20 points.
Dundee Pre-Primary Golf Day: The club thanked all those who played in the competition and supported the event. There was a good field of players on the day.
Two clubs were carded by Rob Streak, Cyril Mkhwanazi, Kallie Roets, John Zulu, Vlooi Slabbert and Deon Sadaw. The longest drive prize went to Henk Booysen. Nearest to pin prizes were awarded to Mandla Mthethwa on Hole 4, Deon Sadaw on Hole 12 and Vlooi Slabbert on Hole 16. RJ Page and G P Aucamp made the day’s longest drives.
The winners were as follows: first – Henk Booysen and E Badenhorst on 47 points, second – John Zulu and Blessing Chiwaya on 46 points, third – Vlooi Slabbert and Loraine de Wit on 45 points, fourth – Natasha du Plessis and H Grierson on 44 points, counted out from Clement Chawanda and Mandla Mthethwa, and W de Bruyn and Neels van Dyk.
