Learners from various schools around Endumeni recently made the area very proud, when they bagged a few medals at the Umzinyathi Schools Aquatics Gala held in Greytown.
The youngsters, who were accompanied by trainers, Mncedisi Ndlovu and Njabulo Majola, impressed at the gala, despite being less experienced than many of the other swimmers they competed against.
Endumeni Municipality’s Zakhele Mndaweni, who is spearheading the new surge of swimming in the area, expressed his pride at the achievements of the youngsters.
