Golfing clinic has been postponed

Players are urged to take note – the Gholf sonder Grense  golfing clinic has been postponed to March 7, 8 and 9.

Dave’s Competition, played on February 5 over 11 holes in the form of an IPS, was won by Sifiso Kunene on 25 points, followed by Gene Robson on 24 points and Cyril Mkhwanazi on 23 points.

The Chicken Run played last Friday (February 7), in the form of an IPS over 10 holes, was won by Abrie Pretorius on 23 points.
Second place was claimed by S Ndlovu on 22 points.

The Club Competition played on Saturday, February 8, in the form of an IPS, was won by Dr Sifiso Kunene on a good 40 points, with Debbie Catlett second on 39 points. In third was S Mkhaliphi on 37 points and fourth, W Odendaal on 36 points. Two club were carded by A Mbatha on Hole 8 and R Catlett on Hole 4.

Upcoming events:

Dave’s Competition will be played on February 12 over 11 holes in the form of an IPS.
The Chicken Run will be played on Friday, February 14, over 10 holes in the form of an IPS.
On Saturday, February 15, the Club Competition will be played in the Four Ball Better Ball Stableford format – get yourself a partner and enter.

The club would also like to see Humphrey Browning back on the course.
