Squash club unearths immense local support

"Without sponsors, we would be nowhere and the game of squash would fall apart in Dundee."

The new year is in full swing and people are looking for ways to shed some of the holiday excess.

The Buffalo Coal Singles Squash League started on January 28, with games played between 5pm and 7pm every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. This is a big league, with 50 players making up 10 teams competing for the amazing prizes sponsored by Buffalo Coal. Supporters are welcome to watch the games.

The club thanked its sponsors for the support: Evo Lubricants, Dundee Brake and Clutch, Charlies Superspar, Conway Johnson, Tri-Star Service Station, Krenrem Gas, BestDrive, Mbube Security, Jeff’s Service Station, BMG Mining Supplies, Right Price and Ace Hardware.

“The new advertising boards are up and we are looking at the next project to give our courts a facelift. Without sponsors, we would be nowhere and the game of squash would fall apart in Dundee. We are really grateful for your continued support,” said the club’s Walter du Plessis.
