Mother Nature smiles on Business League

The leaders are NEMS (8 + 35), Langfontein (8 + 25), Sharks (6 + 41) and BB Transport (6 + 31).

The second and third games of the Mortimer Toyota Business League were played this past Thursday evening, with no weather interruptions. A great evening was once again had by all, with players enjoying a traditional South African braai after play.

The leader board now stands as follows: NEMS (8 + 35), Langfontein (8 + 25), Sharks (6 + 41) and BB Transport (6 + 31). Play starts at 6pm this Thursday and food will be on sale.

Pro Nobis Day: The Pro Nobis Disabled Bowls Day will be hosted this coming Saturday. The day is all about creating awareness of the challenges those with disabilities face on a daily basis. Residents are urged to support the event. Contact Henning-John Meyer on 081 338 4635 for more details.

Prize-giving and Year End Function: Members will once again be treated to a sit-down dinner this coming Friday evening, to wind down and acknowledge the achievements made during the past year.
