Ahead of the new cricket season, the Newcastle Phoenix Cricket Club recently acquired a new sponsor in Blackrock Casino, which provided branded T-shirts and caps for the team of 13 players.
A formal handover took place on Friday at Blackrock Casino, where the excited team donned its new kit and enjoyed a few cold beers courtesy of the casino.
Marketing Manager, Lungani Nkonyeni addressed the team and emphasised the importance of the casino being involved with and supporting local sport clubs.
