Kerwin Mungroo yet again part of Mzansi Super League

This year, Kerwin will be sharing a dressing room with big names like Faf du Plessis and JP Duminy

You will be able to turn on the telly and watch Ladysmith-born Kerwin Mungroo (25) going up against the world’s best cricketers.

That’s right, for the second year running, Kerwin is part of the Paarl Rocks team that will be competing in the prestigious Mzansi Super League.

This year also marks Kerwin’s second year contracted to the Hollywoodbets Dolphins.

Fast bowler Kerwin says with a smile, “I’m 100% looking forward to the season, as I have worked hard during the off-season.”

Kerwin attended Ladysmith Secondary School (Lasec), playing cricket throughout his school career, and went on to play club cricket in Ladysmith. He has since grown in stature and is now on the big stage with the names we all know. What an accomplishment!

A highlight for Kerwin was being part of the Paarl Rocks during the inauguration season. Second time around is like icing on the cake.

This year, Kerwin will be sharing a dressing room with the likes of Faf du Plessis, Isuru Udana (Sri Lanka), JP Duminy, Tabraiz Shamsi, Aiden Markram and James Vince (England).

Kerwin recently visited Ladysmith and attended the KFC Mini Cricket Festival, where he got to interact with young cricket stars from his hometown.

The Mzansi Super League will be broadcast on SABC, so watch this space and follow Kerwin in action against the world’s best.
