Pigeon Club mourns the loss of a former member

"With the passing of an old member of the Pigeon Club, Klein Potgieter, we would also like to extend our deepest condolences to Yvonne Potgieter and Maryna Stander. He was a wonderful person and will be truly missed."

It was another difficult weekend for pigeon club members.
From the clouds which affected the races to activity on the roads, the difference between the first and last pigeon was extreme, up to five hours apart. Dirk and Mariska Norval took most places and one win this weekend.
Frikkie Marx claimed victory on the other side. “Gents (and ladies), the season is almost done. There are just two weekends left.”
Places are as follows:
Marblehall – 330km: Dirk and Mariska Norval: 1, 6, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20, 21
Frikkie Marx: 2, 4, 5, 7, 17. Ruan and Piet Senekal: 3, 8, 10, 15, 16.
Trompsburg – 566km: Frikkie Marx: 1, 3, 9. Dirk and Mariska Norval: 2, 6, 8, 10. Thomas Narian: 4, 7, 11, 12. Ruan and Piet Senekal: 5.
