Samdora FC clinches beautiful soccer victory

The tournament was set to put the best teams from each zone against one another.

A total of 16 local soccer teams competed in the annual Endumeni Junior Tournament, each eager to claim the bragging rights.

The event, which took place at the Oval, was organised by the Department of Sports and Recreation (DSR) in conjunction with the South African Football Association (SAFA). The tournament was set to put the best teams from each zone against one another.

In the end, Siyaphimelela Heroes Academy took on Samdora FC in a thrilling final, which Samdora won. Bonginkosi Khulu, Secretary of the Endumeni Local Football Association, thanked DSR, Mr Nyembe and all the teams which participated.

“We hope this tournament will be bigger and better next year,” he concluded.

And it’s out of here – what a clearance by the Slow Boys defender.
Despite diving to his right, the Royal Eyethu keeper couldn’t save this penalty.
There were some fine flicks and deft tricks on show at the soccer tournament.
