The Wembezi Royal Tigers soccer team has done it again, just as they did last season (2017/2018)!

They have qualified to play with four teams from Ukhahlamba (Bergville) and Alfred Duma (Ladysmith). Tigers will represent the Uthukela Region at the Provincial Play-Offs in Vryheid (under the Zululand Region). Their preparation has been top-notch and they have a new technical staff, so they are hoping to be promoted to the ABC Motsepe League.

The play-offs will take place on two different grounds, Wembezi Sports Ground and Lambert Park, during the weekend of May 18 and 19.

Wembezi Royal Tigers and the Inkosi Langalibalele Local Football Association would like to thank the local business that donated and are still willing to donate different items to make the grounds look professional (white paint to mark the grounds, gates and a fence for added security for the players).

Wembezi Royal Tigers invite all soccer lovers from Mooi River, Estcourt and surrounding areas to come and see these golden boys (benza abadume ngakho) beat their opponents in the play-offs.
