21 players took to the greens to contest April’s monthly mug this past Saturday.
The best gross for the day was Joe Khumalo on 72 and Joe also won the Men’s A division on a great 66 nett. The Mens B division was won by Dave Donaldson on 71 nett. The Ladies B division was won by Lorein De Wit on 72 nett while the Ladies C division was won by Thea Kruger on 76 nett.
The best gross for the Ladies C division was won by Naomi van Huyssteen on 105. 2 clubs were carded A Mbatha on number 12, M Sithole on number 8, S Ndlovu on number 4 and S Kunene on numbers 4 and 12.
In other golfing news, Glencoe Correctional Services got the better of Vryheid in a league encounter on Sunday. It’s the first time ever that Glencoe have beaten the league leaders.
