Bronze medal for district bowls team

Two teams from Dundee will travel to Vryheid this coming weekend to compete in the Pick n Pay Sponsored Day

u/15 & u/20 Inter-Districts

The District’s u/15 and u/20 players travelled to Bloemfontein on March 25 to compete in the Bowls South Africa Inter-Districts Tournament.  The young bowlers did well, competing against the best in country. The u/20 B side ended fourth in their section with the u/20 A side ending third in their section.  The u/15 side had a wonderful week of bowls action. They finished first in their section, securing a semi-final spot which they contested against Gauteng North.  Unfortunately they could not come away with the win but nonetheless managed to bring home a bronze medal.  The club congratulates all, including Dougie, Essie, Carl and Hannelie who coached and managed the players. “ The Club and the District is extremely proud of your efforts,” a statement from the club read.
