Bowlers mark Human Rights Day

The club would like to wish the coaches and mentors of the U/15 and U/20 teams all the best

World Down Syndrome Day/Human Rights Day

A number of the club members came together on Thursday, March 21, to mark Human Rights Day as well as World Down Syndrome Day.

The players had to wear mismatched socks to mark the occasion and what a colourful spectacle it was! It was wonderful to have friends of the club; Morné and Nico join in for the day as well. Two games of 10 ends were played in the Pro 10 format.  In the end the stone went to Dougie and Anna, third place went to Tewie and Essie, second place went to Sylvia and Nico, with the winners of the day being Ian and Brian. Congrats to all!

First place went to Brian and Ian and they received their prize from Jacques Bierbaum.

The club would like to wish the coaches and mentors of the U/15 and U/20 teams, Dougie, Essie, Carl and Hannelie all the best as they accompany the Districts’ young bowlers this week at the U/15 & U/20 Nationals Tournament in Bloemfontein.  Safe travels and enjoy the experience.
