Squash club welcomes back ‘young veterans’

The Roof Bolters are leading the league with an amazing 59 points

The squash club is excited to see that top players, Bud Steenkamp and Shakeel Kalideen, are back on the court.

The Buffalo Coal league is going strong and there have been quite a few interesting developments on the scoreboard.

The Roof Bolters are leading the league with an amazing 59 points. They had an absolute ripper last week against the Dozers.

Zhane Qwabe displayed some neat squash against Morne Mare to beat him 5 – 0. Bud Steenkamp effortlessly beat Dawid Labuschagne 5 – 0. Weon du Plooy had no trouble beating Hanno van der Berg 5 – 0. KP Smith won 5-0 against Nicolette van Rensburg, and unfortunately, Denise Hunt did not play her game against Carla Pretorius and a walkover was awarded to Carla.

The rest of the scores are as follows:
Crushers: 40 points, Face Drills: 34 points, Scoops: 29, Dozers: 28.

The only team with a chance of catching up to the Roof Bolters is the Crushers. They are currently sitting on 40 points and will have to make more than 19 points in their last league game to win the league.
