On Saturday, Estcourt Golf Club hosted its monthly mug sponsored by Mortimer Toyota.
Winning the May Mug was Lady Captain Delia le Roux on a nett 65, who counted out the Club Captain George van Niekerk into second spot.

Third place went to Sam Sewsunker on a nett 68. Sam also won the closest to the pin on number three and then Fred Vickers won the closest for two on the second. Vino Haribhai got the only two club on the day on the 16th.
On Friday was the first of the new winter Friday competition format, a seven hole par three setup. Garth Fairfield won with an impressive two under.
The club also had the first Top 16 shoot out games. Wilfie Laatz took on David Diedrick and the winner only emerged after 19 holes of match play, well done Wilfie for progressing to the last eight round.

A date to remember this month is the 26th, the club will host an inter-schools combined with Skaap Dag, supper included and some great prizes.
