Estcourt’s William Gilbert to fish in Poland
This international competition, which sees the best in the world competing against each other, will be held from August 6 to 12
17-year-old William Gilbert is just a few months away from accomplishing a lifelong dream.

William is part of the South African Fly Fishing Association under 19 Youth Team and has been selected to compete in the Worlds in Poland.
This international competition, which sees the best in the world competing against each other, will be held from August 6 to 12.
William and five other members from the under 19 youth team, have been selected to represent South Africa, William is placed second in the country.
This was attained by attending and exceling in trials.

In order for William to travel and compete, his family needs to raise R70 000 to cover the costs for flights and accommodation.
