Overcast conditions with a passing draft provided ideal conditions for golfers to swing in some decent shots for the day.
Davida van der Merwe Optometrist hosted a sponsored golf day competition last Saturday at the Newcastle Golf Club.
Overcast conditions with a passing draft provided ideal conditions for golfers to swing in some decent shots for the day.
Avid golfers in their numbers took to the fairway and improved their handicap.
The cream of the crop for the day were as follows:
1. Ebert Koorts – 43 Points
2. Karl Swanepoel – 42 Points
3. Tinkie van der Heever – 41 Points
4. Elred Darvall – 38 Points
5. Deon Pfeil – 37 Points onco.
