Stepping Out dancers excel at Eisteddfod

Stepping Out dancers danced to their own white canvas and painted their own pictures proving that all of their hard work, passion and love for dance paid off.

“DANCING is like starting with a white canvas – you get to draw your own picture”

This was a powerful message to the dancers at the Harrismith Eisteddfod 2017. The Eisteddfod offers dancers a great platform to grow.

Two of our dance items also received a whopping 100% for their dances: A huge congratulations to Kayla Becker for her Modern/Contemporary Solo and to our Tiny Tots dancers, Kayla Scheepers, Nina Nieuwenhuizen, Lehane Ungerer and Zene Potgieter for their Get up again Modern quartet. These students are between 5-8 years old and I am beyond proud of these little ones. The judges loved these routines.

A message to my wonderful dancers: “Don’t follow a dream you dream with your mind, follow a dream you dream with your heart”.

“Thank you to each and every dancer who always dances with so much passion and love. I am proud to be your teacher! Thank you also to our dedicated parents for your love and support. It doesn’t go unnoticed.”

Dance greetings, Marina de Beer.
