Full field for Charlie Wagner Memorial

It was very exciting to see the Wagner, Stone and Knolly families playing in this special memorial event

On Saturday the golf club hosted the Charlie Wagner Memorial Day with a full field of 60 players, playing in a four ball alliance with excellent weather and course condition.

Winners on 102 points were Gina Hamman, Bunn Hamman, C Hamman and Charl Schaanick.

Second on 99 points were Lionel Laatz, Wilfie Laatz, Bruce Laatz and J Dreyer.

Third on a count out on 89 points were R Stone, L Donald, C Stone and Seo Mthethwa.

Fourth on 98 points were Bruce Hall, L Hall, Peter Wood and Carlo Piagesti.

It was very exciting to see the Wagner, Stone and Knolly families playing in this special memorial event. Two club winners were Gail Boettiger on number three and Reuben Meades on number seven.

The golf club committee would like to thank all the organisers and sponsors who made this day a great success. On December 24 will be a club competition, see you there!
