Locals race in Pietermaritzburg

With Save Supermarket being the main sponsor, the race started in Victoria Street with a loop around Pietermartizburg, past Grey's Hospital

Marianne Smith, Belinda Smith, Eric Walton and Leeanne van der Westhuizen at the Save Orion 21km Race.

The Save Orion 21km Race was held on November 6 and four local athletes were at the start. Marianne Smith, Belinda Smith, Eric Walton and Leeanne van der Westhuizen participated in the race held in Pietermaritzburg.

With Save Supermarket being the main sponsor, the race started in Victoria Street with a loop around Pietermartizburg, past Grey’s Hospital and Cascades and back to Save Supermarket.

The 10km consisted of one loop and the 21km, two loops.It was perfect weather conditions for running.
