Louis leads golfers to league victory

On the social scene, the second "Beer Pong" competition will be held this Friday evening

Thirty-one golfers took part in Saturday’s club competition at Dundee Country Club and winning the I.P.S. format was Jo Khumalo on 39 points. Marc Bradbury finished one point behind on 38 points to come second, with Gene Robson a further point behind on 38 points to finish in third place.
Jo also managed to record two 2 Clubs on the day, the first on hole no.4 and the second on hole no.16. Other 2 clubs on the day were recorded by K Roets and C Mkhwanazi, both on hole no. 4, with M Mthethwa making his 2 club on hole no. 16.
On Sunday, Louis Albertse (Jnr), playing in the NKZN League team, was once again in great form to convincingly win both his foursomes and singles matches and see the NKZN Team win their league and be promoted to the Premier Division. Well done Louis!
Dundee golfers are very proud to have you as a member of the Club. Friday afternoon, July 1, will see the second 10 Hole Cross Country Golf Challenge taking place from 2pm and the monthly Mug Medal competition for July will be played on Saturday, so golfers are requested to contact the Pro shop to book their times. On the social scene, the second “Beer Pong” competition will be held this Friday evening, starting at 6pm and the entrance fee is R120 per team of two players. Interested contestants are asked to contact Bianca on 076 193 5491.
