Paintballers fight plutonium-carrying terrorists

Another paintball match is being planned to take place soon

Saturday saw the Ladysmith Paintball Team playing a scenario match at ‘The Arena’ on the N11.

The story-line saw a group of terrorists using the outskirts of town (Chernobyl) to hide from the United Nations, who had sent in a task team to stop them and to retrieve the plutonium the terrorists were transporting.

Paintball technology is also used by military forces, law enforcement, paramilitary and security organisations to supplement military training, as well as playing a role in riot response and non-lethal suppression of dangerous suspects.

The players had an awesome time, and another paintball match is being planned to take place soon.
