Well-supported Four Ball Alliance

Last Saturday, August 29 a Four Ball Alliance (three scores to count) was played very kindly sponsored by Luke and Tuppy Schiever and Darryn Wortmann.

Welcomed were Maureen Maxwell, Felicity Ric Hansen, Garth Fairfield, Jaque Bezuidenhout, Luke van Dort and Nick Rogers. The winning team with 131 points was Arnold Boettiger, Bruce le Roux, Dave Rudderham and Gordon Cross. Second with 125 points were Mohammed Jhetham, Faizal Desai, Cassim Mather and Hasan Ismail. Third on 124 were Charline and Eijvind Vlok and Gina and Bunn Hamman.

Closest to the pin on number three was Carlo Piagesti and on number 16 Russell Potgieter. Two clubs were had by Dave Rudderham on number seven and Russell and Bruce on number 16. Longest drive by a lady on number six was Gina and on number 18 for men Tuppy Schiever who outdrove Luke by 150m! A good day was enjoyed by all and a big thank you must go to our sponsors.

Winners last Wednesday were Harry Koovarjee and Moeki Ghasitha with Dave Rudderham and Melton Schiever in second place. Winner in the Friday nine hole ind stab comp was Richard Naidoo with a score of 22 points. Today, Wednesday, September 2 will be a BBBS comp and then on Saturday, September 5 the Lalparsad Attorneys Inc Monthly Mug combined with the Ind Stab comps.
