Golfers tee-off against cancer

The annual Sanlam Cancer Challenge will be played at the Dundee Country Club

The Monthly Mug played on Saturday, June 6, in the form of individual medal attracted a fair field.
Gene Robson was in good form shooting a 69 nett to win the A Division Mug.

Coenie Munro is back in top form winning the B Division Mug on a 71 nett. The ladies’ mugs winners were as follows: Sandy Browning won the B Division on 73 nett. Well done to new lady member, Ms Ackerman, who won the C Division Mug on 81 nett.

The best gross for the day went to Gene Robson on 76 Gross.

The prize-winners were as follows: first Gene Robson, second Coenie Munro, third Clement Chawanda, fourth Sandy Browning and fifth Henk Booysen.

Two clubs for the day: Jo Khumalo, Aaron Mbatha, Clement Chawanda and Gene Robson.
Dates to diarise: Chicken Run on Wednesday, June 10, over nine holes in the form of I.P.S Friday. Meat competition will be played over nine holes in the form of I.P.S.

Please note that the annual Sanlam Cancer Challenge will be played at the Dundee Country Club on June 13. The competition format will be I.P.S; it will be played in three divisions A, B and C. Please support this worthy cause.

The members and staff of the Dundee Country Club would like to wish Leon Wellmann a speedy recovery and would like to see him back on the course.
Condolences go out to Ian Marshall and the Marshall family on the passing of old member, Jean Bailey.
Please note that there will be a competition on June 16, in the form of an I.P.S from 8:30am for 9am till 12pm.
