Vryheid Mountainbiking Club – Keep on training

Three days of gruelling and beautiful single tracks and trails between Sani pass and Scottburgh. Over the three days, the brothers, Ampie and Riaan Swanepoel and the OBC team, Eugene Bosch and Paul Steffenson, cycled 80km, 100km and 80km. Well done, guys. We're very proud of you. Your hard work and hours of training have paid off.

Mountainbiking is definitely not for sissies!

It’s tough in Africa and even tougher on our African trails. But once that mountainbiking bug has bitten, there’s no letting loose. There’s a saying that goes: “How do you spot the happy mountain biker? It’s the one with flies in his teeth!”

Last week, two teams of our local riders took part in the famous Sani2c Mountain Bike stage event. We’re very proud of you. Your hard work and hours of training have paid off.

Remember, we also have our “Meatmasters Mountain Challenge” two day stage event in Vryheid on August 15 and 16. So keep on training! Join us on facebook to keep up with the action!
