Vryheid Cricket Club – Gladiators fall short in final match

In the Twenty20 game, Mr X batted first against the Gladiators and scored a decent 173/3 with Miguel Machado and Matthew Stride top scoring with 59 and 44 not out respectively.

Another wicket falls as Mr x's bowling order restricts Gladiators to 43 runs short of their target.

In the Twenty20 game, Mr X batted first against the Gladiators and scored a decent 173/3 with Miguel Machado and Matthew Stride top scoring with 59 and 44 not out respectively.

A Mr X player scales the fence to retrieve a ball which was knocked out of the park for a monumental 6 by Josua ‘Boeta’ Van Niekerk.

 

Gladiators eventually fell short by 43 runs scoring 130/9 in their allotted 20 overs. Dean Aitken and Adriaan Kruger both top scored with 26 runs.
