This coming weekend is Vryheid Cricket Club’s annual cricket festival, involving all the club teams and possibly a surprise team or two. The format will be 10 overs per innings with some fun rules which will make for entertaining cricket. Fun events for all will be held after the games on Saturday to raise funds. The clubhouse will be open to everyone. So, for something ‘different’ this weekend, get yourself and your family to Cecil Emmett Park! Play gets underway at 9:30am on both days.
The committee challenges Mr X and Wicket Wasps for the entire losing team of their pool match at the festival to participate in the Vryheid Herald’s Cansa Shavathon, which is taking place on March 7.
