Brydey makes a bit of Dusi history

This year the race is being held in honour of Dr Ian Player, world renowned conservationist and founder of the Dusi.

Brydey Weber made a bit of history by becoming the first Dundee lady to compete in the 2015 Dusi Canoe Marathon between Pietermaritzburg and Durban.

At the end of day two last night Brydey and her crew, husband, Jurie and friend, Dawid Jacobs, were listed as being in place 639 in a total time of of 10:11:56.28.

Other locals to compete include Reyce Maltman and Carl Donaldson.  The race finishes today.
