Have you entered the Estcourt Open yet?

Last Saturday, October 18 a BBBS comp was played. Bruce Laatz and Paddy Geraty, who have been scarce by their absence, were welcomed. Winners with a score of 47 points were Deejay Ramdhav and Bruce le Roux. Second place on 46 points went to Gordon Chotu and Kamy Baboolal with 45 points earning third place for Robbie Wattrus and Ian Freeman.

Robbie was closest to the pin on number three but the two clubs went to Paddy on number 12 and Deejay on number 16. Gordon/Kamy and Bruce/Deejay shared the jackpot prize with a score of 10 points. The Wednesday comp, also a BBBS, was won by Vino Haribhai and Viren Omardath on a 46 point count out from Robbie Wattrus and Vaughan Ric Hansen.

Vaughan was closest to the pin on number three and the Spar Estcourt sponsored jackpot was won by Ian Freeman and Willem Erasmus. The excessive wind on Friday prevented any nine hole comp. from been played. Please note that the DSS sponsored BBBS comp on Sunday, October 26 has a full field.
All players are advised to be on time as there will be a shotgun start at 9.15am exactly. The Estcourt Open weekend starts Friday, November 21 with the 36 hole “Open” comp on Sunday, the 23rd. All golfers should endeavour to play in at least one of the competitions and in general participate in what promises to be an enjoyable weekend of golf.
