Taking off-road racing to a whole new level

Besides the dust-raising driving and screeching stunts, spectators will enjoy music and entertainment on Saturday night

If you thought last year’s Blue Haze Estcourt 250 off road race was amazing, then be prepared to be blown away at this year’s event.
With a new venue, television coverage and flea market stalls the organisers are aiming for a ‘carnival-like’ atmosphere at this year’s race, which will be held on Saturday, August 23.
The off-road race will be held at Lingela, which is on the Wembezi road.
Besides the dust-raising driving and screeching stunts, spectators will enjoy music and entertainment on Saturday night.
Anyone wanting to raise funds for non-profit organisations and those wanting to host stalls can contact Roy Rudham on 082 753 9192.
Part of the funds raised from the 250 off-road race will be donated to a local charity.
