The RBCA Chartered Accountant Super League continued this past Sunday with teams serving up plenty of great action.

The RBCA Chartered Accountant Super Cup Final between Munawarah and Spartans got off to a flying start.

Both teams were in attack mode and rampant but it was Munawarah who scored just before halftime from a corner.

Munawarah went into the break leading 1 nil. In the second half, the Spartans pushed for an evasive goal.

Unfortunately, the game had to be called off due to unruly crowd behaviour.

In the first game, newcomers, Hellenic, took on the Newcastle Legends who appeared to be very disjointed.

Hellenic played superb one-touch football and netted within five minutes.

They then found themselves 2 goals to the good after a neat chip over the Legends’ goalkeeper.

In the second half, the Legends made a few changes and found their footing.

However, Hellenic prevailed to win 2-0.

This was followed by the Hummers / City of Refuge clash.

Both teams were fired up and pushed each other hard. It was Hummers who scored just before halftime, with the COR defence caught napping.

Coach, Dee, added some fresh legs after the break and was immediately rewarded when Kyle Doorasamy scored a scorcher.

The game was locked at 1-1 until the last kick of the game saw the Hummers secure a win with fatigue seeming to be the difference between the two teams.

The Zim Stars and Fairleigh United game saw Stars, like Legends, struggle to find a rhythm. Fairleigh United meanwhile are a team on the rise and played exceptionally constructive football that resulted in an early goal.

Zim Stars, who are battling with injuries, seemed out of it, and in the first half, it was one-way traffic.

On the stroke of halftime, Fairleigh United got the second. After the break, Fairleigh United continued to pile on the pressure and ran out 2–0 winners.

This week, the RBCA Chartered Accountant Super League has a selected team that will take on Estcourt and Ladysmith.
