Golfers indulge in a sunny sponsored golf day
Players enjoyed the sunny weather while out on the greens supporting the Newcastle Equestrian Club Golf Day.
The Newcastle Equestrian Club sponsored golf day (in an IPS format) took place this past Saturday (October 21) at the Newcastle Golf Club.
A fair amount of avid golfers enjoyed their sunny afternoon among friends, teeing off one by one to see which player would come out tops.
Water tables were strategically placed around the course, ensuring each player remained hydrated and allowing them to put their best foot forward on the greens.
At the end of the day, scores were tallied, and the winners were as follows:
- 1st: Elred Darvall- 41 points onco
- 2nd: Tinkie vd Heever – 41 points onco
- 3rd: Owen van Aarde – 39 points onco
- 4th: Ronnie Acker – 39 points onco
- 5th: Norman Khumalo – 38 points.
