Revving engines and just pure adrenaline -fuelled action kept the eager spectators gasping for breath as they cheered on their favourite race track heroes…
This was the scene on Saturday afternoon when motor racing enthusiasts from across Newcastle and beyond gathered at the Oval Raceway for a fun evening and some serious speed on the track.
By the end of the evening, the winning racers were congratulated on their top three wins in their respective categories.

“A special thanks to all who helped make the day’s racing possible on Saturday, September 30, and lent a helping hand all day and worked tirelessly behind the scenes for all the race preparations. Racing conditions were hot and the water tanker was deployed to keep the dust down,” concluded club secretary, Zaakira Khan.
